Job description

Iberostar Group is seeking a Maintenance Manager for its new Iberostar Selection Zanzibar 5* pre-opening property in Muyuni, Matemwe. You will detect maintenance and renovation needs, and plan, organize and supervise the actions carried out in the Maintenance Department of the hotel, ensuring the optimal condition of the hotel machinery and facilities to allow hotel operation and contribute to customer satisfaction. Responsibilities include supervising daily routines, identifying renovation or preventive/corrective maintenance needs, managing workshop provisioning, ensuring fire control equipment functionality, supervising air conditioning systems, and managing equipment preparation for events. Requirements

Experience in hotel maintenance management or facilities management. Knowledge of preventive and corrective maintenance procedures. Ability to manage maintenance teams and contractors. Familiarity with HVAC systems, fire safety equipment, and building management systems. Strong organizational and problem-solving skills. Excellent English; additional languages an advantage.
